St. Bernardus tripel
St. Bernardus Tripel is a top fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle. It is a blond to amber colored tripel ale, with a thick white head. It has a rich aroma with hints of pepper, citrus and coriander and a full and refreshing flavor with hints of citrus and pepper.This beer is generally considered to be one of Belgium’s best very tripels. It has an alcohol content of 8.0%.
This beer is brewed at Brewery Sint-Bernardus in Watou, which is mainly famous for their St. Bernardus Abt, a beer brewed according to the same recipe as the Westvleteren 12.
